The Peace Stupa was constructed to promote world peace and harmony. It was built under the guidance of Buddhist monks and was inaugurated in 1999. The stupa is a symbol of peace, and its architecture reflects the Buddhist principles of non-violence, compassion, and unity.

Visitors can reach the Peace Stupa by hiking up the hill or taking a boat across Phewa Lake followed by a short hike. As you approach the stupa, you’ll be greeted by its striking white structure and golden spire. The complex consists of several shrines, prayer rooms, and meditation halls.
