You will take a scenic 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, where your trek begins. From Lukla, you’ll trek to Phakding, a journey that takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. The trail passes through picturesque landscapes and Sherpa villages. Overnight at Phakding
The trek continues along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges and ascending gradually. You’ll reach Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa town situated at an elevation of 3,440 meters. The trek takes around 6 to 7 hours.
To aid acclimatization, you’ll spend an extra day in Namche Bazaar. On this day, you can hike to Khumjung and Kunde, two Sherpa villages known for their cultural significance and stunning views of the Himalayas. The hike takes around 4 to 5 hours.
