The Sherpa Heritage Trek with Everest Heli Tour is an 9-day adventure that combines trekking in the Everest region of Nepal with a thrilling helicopter tour. The journey begins in Kathmandu, where you’ll have a day to prepare and explore the city. From there, you’ll fly to Lukla and start trekking to Phakding. The trek continues to Namche Bazaar, where you’ll have an acclimatization day to hike to Khumjung and Kunde. As you trek through Tengboche and Debuche, you’ll be mesmerized by the stunning mountain views and visit the famous Tengboche Monastery. An excursion to Phortse Village adds to the cultural experience. Dingboche is another beautiful stop, where you’ll have time to explore and acclimatize further. The highlight of the trip is a helicopter flight to Everest Base Camp, offering breathtaking views of the Khumbu Glacier. After returning to Lukla, you’ll fly back to Kathmandu.

Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. This day is reserved for rest and trek preparation. You can explore the vibrant city and make any necessary arrangements for the trek. overnight at kathmandu

Day 2

You will take a scenic 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, where your trek begins. From Lukla, you’ll trek to Phakding, a journey that takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. The trail passes through picturesque landscapes and Sherpa villages. Overnight at Phakding

Day 3

To aid acclimatization, you’ll spend an extra day in Namche Bazaar. On this day, you can hike to Khumjung and Kunde, two Sherpa villages known for their cultural significance and stunning views of the Himalayas. The hike takes around 4 to 5 hours.

Day 4

The trail ascends through forests of rhododendron and offers magnificent views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. You’ll visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, an important Buddhist site, before reaching Debuche. The trek takes approximately 6 to 7 hours.

Day 5

You’ll have an excursion to Phortse Village, situated at an elevation of 3,796 meters. This village provides an opportunity to experience the traditional Sherpa lifestyle and enjoy breathtaking mountain views.

Day 6

In the morning, you’ll board a helicopter for a thrilling flight to Everest Base Camp. You’ll have an opportunity to witness the iconic base camp and the stunning Khumbu Glacier. Afterward, you’ll fly back to Lukla and then take a regular flight to Kathmandu, concluding your trekking adventure.

Day 7

You’ll have a free day in Kathmandu to relax, explore the city, and do some souvenir shopping. You can visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites, wander through colorful markets, or indulge in the local cuisine.

Day 8

On the final day, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your Sherpa Heritage Trek with Everest Heli Tour.
