Trek to Everest Base Camp is one of the best adventure treks you can go on while in Nepal. This illustrious journey culminates at the base of Mt. Everest (8848m). Along the trail mesmerize in the Himalayan glaciers, Sherpa village and overwhelming views of the panoramic Himalayan peaks. Visit the hallmark of the Everest region Kalapathar viewpoint and the Everest base camp (5,364m). Experience the scenes surrounding the trail leading up to the base camp. Visit Sagarmatha National Park and take time to appreciate the rare flora and fauna and various high altitude bird species of the region.

Your adventurous journey starts with thrilling flight to Lukla airport, one of the highest in the world. After your arrival your mountain guide will assist you for your trek towards Phakding, a Sherpa village located in the Dudh Koshi River. Walk past the Mani stones, Multi-colored prayers flag and reach Namche Bazar a significant trading hub for locals in the region. Follow the trail besides Imja river and reach Debuche and Tengboche.

Watch the magnificent view from Tengboche Monastery as you head to Dingboche and then to Lobuche. Cross the Khumbu Glacier, relish in view of the Himalayan giants like Thamserku (6608m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Imja Tse/Island Peak (6189m), Nuptse (7861m), Cho Oyu (8188m), Lhotse (8414m) and several other peaks. Climb to Kala Patthar (5545m), a graceful viewpoint at the base of Mount Pumori (7165m) and Everest Base Camp (5364m), the base camp of world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest (8848m).

After enjoying the reward of your journey, retrace your steps descending back to Lukla. By the end of your journey, you will have a ton of memories, pictures and experience that will last you a lifetime. Everest Base Camp trek is challenging to first time trekkers requiring good skill in rock and ice climbing to be capable to join this trek.
